Mountain View Baptist Church

“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised...” Psalm 48:1

We are a Local Church, independent of any denominational hiercharchial structure.   Although Baptistic in conviction, we belong to no Baptist Organizations or Conferences, and are first and foremost Christians, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, who being God in the flesh, was offered up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, and was resurrected on the third day, obtaining victory over death. By repenting of our sins and placing our trust in the sin-cleansing blood of Christ, we have been born again by the Holy Spirit, into the family of God.

The head of this Church is Jesus Christ. The sole authority of our faith and practice is the Holy Scriptures, the King James Bible.

Our Mission is to praise and glorify God, and to serve Him.  We seek to fulfill his commandment to go into all the world and preach the gospel.  We seek to accomplish this great commission by preaching the gospel in this community and the neighboring communities, and all the world through the support and sending out of missionaries.

We look forward to meeting you.  All souls are welcome in our Church, whether saved, searching, or sorrowing.  Our hope and prayer is that all mankind will hear the gospel and believe, trusting Christ as Lord and Savior.
